TERMS & CONDITIONS

Commissioned work may be used for personal or commercial purposes by the commissioner only once the final payment is made and received.

Any work on my portfolio may not be used for personal, non-commercial, or commercial purposes without permission.

Custom contracts and terms may be discussed.

Payments are quoted in USD or CAD.

PAYMENT
A partial, non-refundable payment may be required before beginning a project. The remainder will be paid upon the completion of the project. Once agreed upon and the project has begun, the total amount of the payment is non-negotiable. "Exposure" is not an accepted form of payment and not negotiable for discounts. The final, full-resolution product will be sent when the final payment is received. A method of payment will be discussed (ie: Paypal) and an initial invoice will be sent. It is the commissioner's responsibility to ensure they are of legal age to be commissioning work and able to make payments. Once the initial payment is made by the commissioner, the commissioner is agreeing to these terms and conditions.

TIMELINE
Time estimates will be discussed and provided at each stage of a project. Projects will generally be completed within 2 weeks, this may vary depending on the complexity and size of the project. The commissioner may not demand unreasonable timelines. If a project requires a rush priority, such as 1 week, additional charges may apply or the project may be cancelled if it is impossible. The commissioner may not change to a rush priority once a project has commenced. Time estimates do not include the response times of the commissioner. Please do not attempt to rush the project timeline by message spamming, this will violate these terms and conditions.

REVISIONS
Revisions to the sketch or final product will result in additional charges that are not included in the initial estimate. The additional charges with be confirmed with the commissioner before progressing. Revisions will generally cost $5-$100, this is determined by the amount of work required to make the revision. It is the commissioner's responsibility to provide adequate details, descriptions, and references. A sketch or final product "not being what [the commissioner] expected" is not grounds for free revisions or refund. The commissioner acknowledges that digital products may look different if converted to physical products. I have no control over the printers or other physical conversion media the commissioner may choose to use.

PROJECT SIZE
If the commissioner does not specify the size (ie: canvas size), I will choose an appropriate resolution. Changing the project size after it has commenced may result in additional charges if a significant amount of content is to be changed.

REFERENCES
If the commissioner specifies resources, details, or designs to be included in a project, it will be assumed that the resources are CC0, public domain, or that the commissioner has the appropriate rights to use the resources.

NSFW COMMISSIONS
NSFW commissions are accepted, though I reserve the right to refuse commissions. It is the commissioner's responsibility to ensure they are of adult age. Do not order NSFW content if the commissioner is under the age of 18.

CANCELLATION
If a commissioner cancels the project while it is in progress, the initial payment will not be refunded. Once a project is in progress or completed and the commissioner has received the work, the commissioner may not go through the system of the payment method to force a refund. Refunds will not be issued once a project is complete and the commissioner has received the final product.

If the commissioner fails to respond for over 30 days without notice during any stage of the project, or the communication methods provided by the commission no longer functions, the project will be assumed to have been abandoned and no refunds will be issued. The files will be deleted and the project may not be resumed.

POST-COMPLETION
Once a project is completed, the project files on my end will be removed. I do not provide a file storage service. The project may not be resumed once it is confirmed to be completed. Raw/Working files will not be given to the commissioner.

Violation of any of these terms by the commissioner may result in cancellation of the project and forfeiture of payments already made by the commissioner.

There will be watermarks on the sketch and product prior to receiving the final payment. Watermarks may not be removed. The commissioner may not claim the work as their own creation (may not claim they are the artist). I hold no responsibility if a commissioner incurs troubles such as academic dishonesty if they claim the work as their own creation.

I retain all rights to commissioned work, such as for display in my portfolio, all rights to refuse a commision for any reason, and to update the pricing rates and these terms and conditions at any time.
